The wide product range includes different types of skived PTFE films suitable for unique customer applications. The product portfolio includes Virgin PTFE, modified PTFE, and PTFE compounds. A bondable version with best-in-class etching on one or both sides, in addition to other surface treatment options, is also available.
Product Details
Skived PTFE films enjoy high purity thanks to high-quality resins, with no staining or contamination. They provide extreme stability across a wide range of temperatures (from cryogenic to 500°F (260°C)) and chemical resistance that is practically universal and unaffected by the vast majority of chemicals. Saint-Gobain® manufacturing enables extremely tight tolerances with high thickness uniformity across the entire width and length. Skived PTFE films are used for a wide variety of specialised applications.
Norgard® Skived PTFE Films have been tested using FDA 21 CFR 177.1550. Test reports are available upon request.
