Gasketing Foam Extrusions
For indoor and outdoor applications, easy-to-apply materials that conform to various shapes and structures create lasting seals that are essential for the success of the entire system. Our gasketing foam extrusions are resistant to weather and oxidation, remain flexible at low temperatures and feature a "skin" that significantly reduces open surface cells, making them excellent for sealing against light, dust and moisture in sanitary, walk-in refrigeration, appliance or automotive applications. Versatility in substrates and pressure-sensitive adhesives, densities, shapes, colours and availability in spool lengths that are optimised for automated production runs aim to deliver the sealing performance you are looking for.
Maximize Automation Manufacturing Process Efficiency with Extrusions
For different application needs, our extrusions are available in various shapes and on spools with up to 2,500 meters length. This allows almost continuous application and automated processes with minimal downtime and replacement efforts. Most extrusions can also be provided with acrylic or rubber adhesives with excellent adhesion to MSE and LSE surfaces to further streamline manufacturing and cost efficiency.
Automatic application processes using robotic systems are on the rise worldwide due to many reasons like:
- Higher throughput and production speed
- Constant quality
- Less manual work or risks of injury
- Less material waste
- High-precision application, etc.
Our splice-free materials therefore offer significant advantages over EPDM materials. Replace traditional EPDM materials with our innovative foam extrusions and minimize waste and losses.
e.g. Applicate length: 2000mm, P-4000 vs. EPDM (splicing by 10m)
Features & Benefits
