Cushioning Pads and Damping Foams

Cushioning pads and dampening foams are low-density materials that have the ability to reduce mechanical vibrations and maintain flexibility, form, and function throughout the lifetime of the battery pack. They act as a spring, ensuring continuous contact between the heat source (battery module) and heat sink (cooling plate) over the lifetime of the battery, thereby supporting the thermal pad's heat dissipation function. Not only are they cost-effective, but they also offer superior flame retardancy performance for enhanced passenger safety.
