PFA-WF Welding Film
Used as hot melt adhesive (welding tape) for bonding Norgard® PTFE-coated fabrics and fluoropolymers together to form architectural structures, belts and fabricated items, PFA-WF Welding Film offers excellent chemical and thermal resistance – at a lower price point than PFA type PG.
Product Details
In applications where electrical and optical properties are not the primary considerations, PFA-WF Welding Film provides the same thermal and chemical resistance as PFA type PG, but at a more affordable price. Bondable under pressure and heat to PTFE-coated fabrics and fluoropolymers, it provides the chemical and thermal resistance of a full fluoropolymer construction compared to using traditional adhesive chemistry. Often used to form seams on belts that operate in elevated temperature environments (for example, those used in ovens), it is our recommended welding tape for these types of PTFE coated fabric belt applications.
