CHR Glass Foil A Metallic Roll Tape

CHR 2926 is manufactured from a thin aluminium foil, laminated to a high-temperature glass tape with high-temperature silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side. Its adhesive, a high-temperature silicone, allows the product to withstand continuous temperatures of up to 260°C (500°F) and short-term exposure up to 315°C (600°F).

  • Excellent strength and flexibility, which allows for easy wrapping of complex shapes and minimises wrinkling during the flexing of cables
  • Uses a premium silicone adhesive with low residuals that is suitable for food contact applications and other applications where low contamination is important.

  • Used in aerospace and automotive markets as a wire harness bundling tape in engine components.
