Stellantis MS.90152 Specification Approval for Norbond® Bonding Tapes

Often, this process includes a range of ageing conditions, such as heat and humidity cycles, to evaluate how our products will perform over the lifespan of the vehicle. This is done on panels from the supplier, so that OEMs can trust the product will perform in their system. Typical testing can include peel, pluck, and shear conditions, in order to analyse the assembly over a range of stress parameters.
Stellantis MS.90152 Specification Approval
The latest specification to add to our growing list of OEM approvals is Stellantis MS.90152. This new spec for exterior bonding tapes harmonises the previously separate specifications from both Chrysler and Fiat. As part of the approval process to qualify for MS.90152, we put our tapes up against the latest paint and clear coat systems used by Stellantis. Having passed the full standard, Saint-Gobain Tape Solutions can offer the following Norbond Exterior Attachment Tape options that are compatible with the latest Stellantis paint systems:
- Norbond E500 for badging applications
- Norbond Z2000 for exterior trim applications
Both are available in a range of thicknesses to cover a variety of application needs.
