Double-Sided Adhesive Glazing Tape
Norseal® V980 and V990 closed-cell foam tapes with high-performance adhesive on both sides are ideal for sealing glass into framing systems. For over 40 years, Norseal Foam Tape has delivered proven performance in the window glazing market, making it the preferred choice for a variety of glazing applications. Both V980 (with paper release liner) and V990 (with film release liner) exceed AAMA 810.1 requirements for residential and commercial glazing needs. The PVC foam core accommodates moderate joint movement for larger commercial panes and modest high-rise buildings due to thermal cycling and wind loads. The closed-cell elastomer structure ensures an effective water seal, while the pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive provides outstanding bond strength to glass, wood, aluminium and vinyl surfaces.
Single-Side Adhesive Glazing Tape
Norseal V740 and V780 are closed-cell foam tapes with pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side. Designed for interior glazing, these tapes are also well-suited when the system requires repositioning of the glass pane. V740 is positioned as the general construction grade foam tape, while V780 offers enhanced UV resistance for improved weathering.
