Growing h-old® Teamwork
Our Biandrate, Italy colleagues just wrapped up a summer activity that blended fun, action, and learning. Discover more from our dear colleague Cincia Biocco, who led the initiative.
A Day of Sharing, Awareness and… Quality!
Once again this year, the “Make h-old a Better Team” day took place with great enthusiasm — a special moment that involved the active participation of all employees at the site.
The goal? To take a moment to pause, reflect, share, learn, and strengthen team spirit.
The day was structured around four key moments, each designed to bring concrete value to both people and the organization.
Sharing industrial and economic results
Opening the door to transparency is always a winning choice: sharing figures, performance data, and objectives allowed everyone to better understand the company's direction and the contribution each person can make to our shared success. It was also a moment to recognize the work done so far, reinforcing a sense of belonging and motivation.
Training on unconscious bias
An engaging and interactive learning session aimed at reflecting on how our decisions are often influenced by unconscious mechanisms. Understanding bias helps improve the quality of relationships, leads to fairer and more conscious decision-making, and contributes to a more inclusive and collaborative workplace.
Lunch together
Never underestimate the power of a shared meal! Lunch was the perfect opportunity to socialize informally, strengthen bonds among colleagues, and enjoy a moment of togetherness that supports a positive work environment and daily collaboration.
Quality game: learning through play
Perhaps the most anticipated moment of the day was the Quality Game, a team activity that challenged participants with practical tests and quizzes focused on the quality of h-old products and processes.
The challenges included identifying materials used in products, recognizing thicknesses, and answering questions about certifications and other technical aspects crucial to ensuring excellence.
The game turned complex concepts into fun and engaging experiences, reinforcing awareness of standards, attention to detail, and process knowledge.
But that’s not all: the Quality Game also highlighted team spirit, cross-department collaboration, and the individual strengths of each participant. With a touch of healthy competition, everyone contributed with enthusiasm and creativity, making learning both active and memorable.
“Make h-old a Better Team” once again proved to be a valuable event for our company community: a chance to listen, learn, have fun, and — above all — strengthen that team spirit that defines us every day.
The energy, participation, and enthusiasm that filled every moment of the day clearly showed that when we step up, share knowledge, and build authentic relationships, we truly “Make h-old a Better Team”.
Because improvement starts with people. And together, we can truly make a difference.
