Pressure Sensitive Polyimide Film Tapes
Ideal for applications requiring high dielectric strength in extreme temperature environments, polyimide pressure sensitive adhesive tapes boast resistance to extreme heat, solvents and abrasion. Our full portfolio of polyimide tapes include DuPont® Kapton® coated with acrylic or silicone adhesive and cling film options, all of which are designed for high temperature electrical applications.
Protect electric motors with high-performance tapes
In mobility and especially high-end industrial electric motor applications, adhesive tapes are ideal to protect the motor and components from heat and abrasion. Their stress and electrical resistance help to insulate motor windings, resulting in superior damage protection, increased lifetime, performance and durability.
Due to decades of experience in the electro-mechanical markets and the capabilities to customize i.e. adhesive chemistry or formulation, our Polyimide and Kapton Tapes provide tack and adhesion tailored to customer applications while maintaining cohesiveness even under harsh conditions. Unique composite solutions can be achieved by laminating insulating films to other materials.”

Ensure chemical resistance for demanding applications
As a material, polyimide is inherently resistant to many chemicals, including solvents, acids, and bases, making them ideal for use in demanding applications where exposure to harsh chemicals is a concern. When combined with UV, moisture and weather-resistant adhesives, polyimide film tapes are ideal for outdoor applications.
Maximize transformer and generator insulation, performance and durability
Polyimide tapes provide reliable insulation performance even at high temperatures like in demanding transformer or generator applications. The combination with excellent dielectric strength helps to prevent electrical breakdown, insulate electrical components effectively and improve the overall performance and lifetime of transformers or generators.
