Pressure Sensitive Polyimide Film Tapes

Ideal for applications requiring high dielectric strength in extreme temperature environments, polyimide pressure sensitive adhesive tapes boast resistance to extreme heat, solvents and abrasion. Our full portfolio of polyimide tapes include DuPont®  Kapton® coated with acrylic or silicone adhesive and cling film options, all of which are designed for high temperature electrical applications.

Alessandro Barile

Due to decades of experience in the electro-mechanical markets and the capabilities to customize i.e. adhesive chemistry or formulation, our Polyimide and Kapton Tapes provide tack and adhesion tailored to customer applications while maintaining cohesiveness even under harsh conditions. Unique composite solutions can be achieved by laminating insulating films to other materials.”

Features & Benefits

  • Flame retardant

Options that not only comply with UL 510 for flame retardance but also meet UL94 V-0 flame retardancy requirements improve safety for end-users in electronic, aerospace and automotive applications

  • High temperature resistance

With bi-directional shrinkage of less than 1%, electronics are better protected against handling damage and high temperatures up to 260°C continuous and 300°C in temporary masking applications

  • Full polyimide offering

Product range includes options such as Kapton film, electrical grade polyimide and ultra-thin polyimide combined with high temperature silicone or acrylic adhesive systems

  • Application-driven design

Thin, high-temperature resistant tapes address insulation requirements of traction motors, high-voltage motors and dry-type transformers
