Fire Protection is maybe the most important challenge in aircraft safety. Our flame-retardant tape solutions meet demanding aerospace standards like FAA, UL, FAR 25.853, and OEM standards (Airbus, Boeing) for fire protection, vibration control, and electrical insulation. - UL 94 V-0 is the most restrictive flame-retardant rating within the UL 94 standard for plastic materials, meaning the plastic sample must self-extinguish within a total of 50 seconds (with no more than 10 seconds of afterflame after each of two flame applications) and must not produce flaming drips that ignite cotton below it. This rating is critical for aerospace components, indicating a high level of resistance to fire and a reduced risk of fire spreading.
